Book is in very good condition. There are numerous black and white illustrations, plans and tactical diagrams. Table of contents are in pictures and it comes with three maps in back cover pocket which are 1 Map of Fort Leavenworth, Kas. and vicinity, 2 map with 3 diagrams for troops and cavalry and Instructional elementary map for map reading. This book was used some time after 1917 shortly after the genesis of Reserve Officers Training Corps, which was formally organized in 1916. This book was the property of "Frank E. Muzzey" Fairchild Hall, NH College Durham N.H. (now the University of NH). UNH first instructor was Lieutenant Henry C. Hodges, Jr., 22nd U. S. Infantry, he reported for duty on September 1, 1894 as the college's first instructor of military science.;
