Beautiful Colt SAA 3rd generation in desirable 44 spl with 4 3/4" barrel, professionally tuned up!
This beauty was made in 1981 (SA54581), and as the pictures clearly show, it's in very nice condition throughout. The bluing is dark and rich without any significant imperfections. No much of visible turn line on the cylinder to speak of, except between two notches (See pic #1). The color case hardened is super vivid and colorful as well. No signs of having been shot much at all!
The chambers and bore are pristine! The action is very smooth, with good lockup and crisp trigger. This Colt has been professionally tuned up at one point. The front sight has been filed down to adjust point of impact. The action is super smooth, with an amazing trigger pull. The cylinder rotates very smoothly in the halfway cocked hammer postion, very nice tune-up job indeed!
The original Colt grips are in excellent condition, free of cracks or chips!
