I'm selling my collection. Here is an Antique French Engraved Lefaucheux 6 Round Double & Single Action Civil War Revolver chambered for 7 mm Pinfire lighter than of the bigger Military Model 1854. 6.1/8" octagonal barrel with good bore with sharp rifling with a very light oxidation. Highly engraved. 6 clean chamber in a cylinder which rotate with good timing. Post front sight with rear open sight on hammer. Swiveling door of the loading gate. Ejector rod. Excellent Ebony wood grips. Metal finish is in the white with engraving rates 85% with light sratches with minor oxidation spots and brown patina. The US Civil War opened a good market to sell to both sides. These modern PinFire revolvers were very popular successful on the battle field wer produced in 3 different calibers: 7mm, 9mm & 12mm. France, Spain, Germany & Belgium manufactured these pinfire revolvers under the French Lefaucheux license. This revolver was well kept one looks like a special order for officer or civilian. The action was smooth & firmly crisp before I disassembled it placing the return spring of the trigger in an inverted position (not to good at mechanic). What is not mentioned in the description can be seen on the pictures. I haven't shot this one. I described it to the best of my knowledge. Pictures and old amunitions are NOT for sale.
