Description:
A very clean Belgium made trade gun for the native trade in colonial Africa and Spouth America, with a 36" heavy smooth bore of about .65cal.. The back action lock works well and and nipple appears clean, Butt-stock of European hardwood is very clean with colonial markings. As with many trade guns made in early 20th century 19th century surplus parts were made from closed military contracts, which makes these guns very interesting as many variations are found. Comes with a newer made copy of a 19th century white sail cloth and leather which is very clean. Not sure this fine gun ever made it to natice peoples and was ssold many years ago as surplus.
