About Us: I am a private individual gradually selling off my collection. I prefer to sell each firearm myself instead of leaving it to the whims of an auuction. I will be listing rifles, shotguns, old, modern, some NIB, and some that are rare. In purchasing from me, you are dealing with the actual owner and not a dealer who has no familiarity with the firearm. I have owned these firearms for anywhere from a year and a half, to several decades. When purchasing from me, there will be no surprise needed repairs.
Description:
Pump action. 28” barrel, Full choke. Serial # E545409. Wood appears refinished. Some scratches and handling marks in rear stock, but no major gouges. Rear stock has a thin tight crack on either side of the grip coming off the frame in the usual Model 1897 location but they are very tight as is shown in the included photos. Buttplate might be original, you be the judge. Foregrip wood has handling marks and a thin tight crack on the left side. See photo. Metal only has a little bluing left and is whiteout in some areas. Barrel has no dents, has well-defined markings, bore has several internal scratches but is shiny. Some scratches and age-spots on the receiver frame. Nice shooting gun for the money, everything functions well. I’ve owned it several years, it’s never let me down. I can provide several more high-res photos and even a short video clip of it in operation to a SERIOUS buyer. Terms are as per this Description section and our correspondence. For local sale I will only sell to anyone who is verified to purchase a firearm so I would need to see either a FFL, or Neb Firearm Purchase Certificate, and ID, just like it's done at most aauuctions/shows. Neb Concealed Carry Permit works as well. If you are from out of state but can make the drive, there is an FFL in Lincoln that will do the transfer for 25 bucks. I will ship to an FFL. If you do not have your own FFL you must contact your FFL provider and ensure that they will accept firearms for transfer that come from a private individual like me that does not have an FFL. I can provide them a copy of my ID. I will also need contact info for your receiving FFL so that I can arrange shipping with them. If shipping, payment for firearm and shipping combined is by Bank Cashier's Check ONLY. Shipping is to only the lower 48 and is a flat fee of 70 dollars.
