32747-RARE EARLY SPRINGFIELD KRAG U.S. MODEL 1892 .30-40 CAL. RIFLE DATED 1894. All original and matching and correct as to model year of production. 10,8xx serial range close in number to 11th U.S. Infantry issues recorded in Springfield records. Excellent with most of the original blue and case hardening with only very light patina mixed in. Matching stock and handguard with all the original finish and very sharp Ordnance Inspector’s cartouche dated 1896. Working order and excellent bright bore. $2500.
