Up for sale is a 1936 pre 64 pre war Winchester model 70 action. The action is all correct type 1-1 with matching serial number on the bolt. With a 3 digit serial number! Unfortunately, it does have three extra holes in the rear bridge, but it has never been drilled and tapped for a side mount. It is a standard 30-06, 270 Winchester action. Would be a great start for a truly one of a kind custom rifle or a great start for a restoration for an early model 70. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
