CONSIGNMENT SALE! MERKEL 200E 16 GAUGE
The 2nd of 2 Merkels we have in our store this week. These truly rare firearms come with a storied history out of Suhl Germany. This particular Merkel has seen its fair share of use, no hiding that. There are marks and scratches in the wood found throughout the gun (as seen in the pictures). No pitting or serious damage, but something to note without a doubt. The metal is in fine condition on the other hand. While the blueing is worn slightly, it is something that would shine up without too much effort.
The buttplate on the other hand is in need of some TLC. At some point in this guns long lifetime the stock was cut to fit a recoil pad. That pad has since deteriorated and a new one is needed if you are considering shooting this gun on the regular. For more detailed information on its condition , give us a call!
