Description:
.44-40, #185126, 20 inch barrel, nickel finish, walnut stock and forearm, original sights, will letter as .44-40 and as a SRC. No mention of the finish, I beleive due to the wear and condition that the nickel was applied during the period of use if not at the factory, 1899.
Condition: very good bore, 85% receiver finish, 90% barrel and tube, traces on hammer and lever, lever stamped "J.C", stock has dog's hair crack at butt plate, possible extra coat of finish, excellent mechanically,excellent marks.
