Actually this is more correctly called the Safety Hammerless First Model .32 caliber with 2 Inch barrel, but we commonly refer to them as bicycle revolvers. This is factory nickel, with a case colored trigger, and blued trigger guard - all in original condition. Revolver also has a nice bore and five chambers. These first models have the unique push button release and were made up uintil 1904. Sold as protection from stray dogs when traveling on your bicycle not many of the 2 inch guns were produced by Smith & Wesson and even fewer survived. They are actually quite rare to be found in this nice original condition. Serial range is 8612x.
