About the 66-2 Variant:
The Model 66 is a stainless steel version of the iconic Model 19 Combat Magnum.
The “-2” engineering change was introduced in 1982 and includes internal design revisions, such as:
Elimination of the gas ring from the yoke (moved to the cylinder)
