Our research shows that this Remington 700 was manufactured in 1972. This is a custom shop model with features such as rosewood caps on the forearm and hand grip.
Chambered in .375 H&H Magnum, this rifle is a Safari Grade rifle. This 700 features a 24" barrel. Rifling is clear and crisp. Very low round count. Bolt face retains virtually all of its original bluing. Bolt and receiver serial numbers match.
This 700 BDL also features a Monte Carlo stock with cut checkering on the handgrip and forearm as well as sling mounts. Factory recoil pad. Receiver has been factory drilled for scope mounts. We do not see evidence of a scope ever being mounted on it.
