"Serial No. 12632, 44-40, 24"" round barrel Winchester Model 1873 with full magazine. Nice honest rifle with the barrel and magazine tube retaining approximately 75% original blue. Receiver shows approximately 85%. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling noted. Hammer and lever show traces of case coloring turning into a smooth brown patina. it is noted that the top of the tang is thinning and starting to turn. Wood is great with slight handling and usage marks noted,90% of original oil finish remains. Great example of an early Winchester 1873!
