This is a low-number , 4 digit, (282X) edition of the Winchester 71 Deluxe with the long tang. Our research indicates the rifle was manufactured in 1936. Needless to say it is chambered in .348 Win.
It comes with a correct optional (by special order) rear Lyman 56a W71 sight.
This rifle is in excellent condition all the way around with some blue loss seen to the rear of the loading gate and (very minimal loss) rear sight.
