Description:
The Winchester Model 1906 was made as a more inexpensive version of the popular Model 1890. There were several models produced, the "Short" chambering just the .22 Short, "Standard" which chambers the Short, Long And long Rifle cartridges, and finally the "Expert" which was the more deluxe version with a pistol grip and fluted slide grip. This example is of the sought after "Expert" model and is in good overall condition, with most of its finish faded to a consistent plumb brown and no notable mechanical faults. The rifle has also been fitted with a tang sight, which will be of great use, since the bore is truly fantastic and nearly a mirror finish.
