Description:
This is a full box, 50 rounds, of .22 LR ammunition manufactured by Western Cartridge Company with Lesmok powder, high velocity long range accuracy round circa 1922-25. The wrap around label is intact with near excellent graphics featuring the Western diamond logo on the top and a very nice cartridge cut on the side with some fading and staining. The box is solid with nice edges and corners. The cartridges are near excellent with some showing age darkening. Identified as WCC-50 LR-2 in Roger Huegel's online .22 Rim Fire Box ID Reference based on the original Dunn classification system.
