Description:
Here we have a Springfield Model 1873 chambered in 50-70 Govt. cal. This rifle features a 32 5/8 in. barrel, 2 barrel bands, a rear ramp sightand is stamped 1864 by the hammer. Approx. 73,000 mfg. between 1873-77. This gun is in good shape. The stock has some cracks, chips and gouges in it. The barrel/metal have some imperfections and marks on them. The rifleing looks good but does show some wear/imperfections. Overall, this rifle is in 75% +/- condition considering its age. Please call with questions before purchasing.
