Description:
Vintage Buechel Tell system Aydt match or parlor pistol chambered in .22 lr. This model was first introduced in 1910/11, production resumed after WW1. This pistol in excellent condition and was a prize pistol for the 1926 Canton Zurich Schutzenfest, held in Uster. Donated by the Swiss cotton merchant and philanthropist Alfred Reinhard (1873-1935), founder of Reinhard & Co. A silver cartouche is inlaid in to the grip stating his prize donation and signed A. Reinhard, Alexandria (British Egypt). Case hardened receiver with some light engraving, blued octagonal 250mm barrel (9.8") with excellent bore. German, east Prussian retailers name on barrel top, fine walnut target grips. Quick detachable front sight, micrometer rear sight.
