This Remintgton was found in a family members belongings-He was a collector of Cival War memorabilia and valid Western Cowboy - collectibles in Ranching. This item history is unknown as there were no provenance attached. It functions as designed and not having any provision to load & 'test it. This has a damaged Hammer tip as shown...so, it is being listed as a "parts Gun...The grips were wrapped in some whitish Hide of some sort which was sealed with Hide glue is what we were told....! Numbers do match...It is unk. the condition of the grips as they are well wrapped.....at least it adds to its 'history...!
