Pre-War Greifelt 12 Gauge Over/Under – Von Lengerke & Detmold Import
An outstanding example of pre-war German craftsmanship, this Greifelt 12 gauge O/U was imported by Von Lengerke & Detmold, Inc. and is engraved to the highest standard with intricate rose & scroll work and detailed game scenes. All original finishes remain, including a good degree of vibrant case color.
This finely made shotgun features a strong bolting system with double underbites and dual Kersten locks. The barrels are 28" with a solid rib, chambered for 2 3/4", and retain mirror bores measuring .719 with chokes Mod (14/1000) and Full (45/1000). Ejectors are strong and well timed.
The three-piece forend includes a push-rod release, and the hinged front trigger blade adds a refined touch. Stocked in well-figured wood with excellent dimensions:
- LOP: 14 1/8"
- Drop at comb: 1 3/8"
- Drop at heel: 2 5/8"
