Purdey Live Pigeon 12 Gauge Shotgun – 1930 – All Option Gun in Period Case
An exceptional and highly desirable Purdey 12 gauge live pigeon gun, manufactured in 1930. This is an "all option" example purpose-built for the ring — featuring sideclips, third fastener, chopper lump barrels, and a raised, tapered top rib.
The gun remains in excellent condition, with mirror bores, tight ribs, and an action that is tight on face. Ejectors are strong and precisely timed. Bores measure .733", with Full chokes: Right - .026", Left - .034". Original 2 3/4" chambers, London proofed at 1 1/4 oz.
The well-dimensioned stock offers excellent handling:
