- Pietro Beretta Italian "Silver Snipe" O/U 12 shotgun. Last Year of Production The Silver Snipe was produced from 1955-1967. This particular gun was produced in the last year of mfg. (1967). The gun retains virtually all of it's original factory finish on the barrels and action with no rust or pitting. The wood would rate a conservative 95%+ with no chips splits or cracks, with some light handling marks that show up on close inspection, This gun is chambered for 3 in. magnum shells. The barrel length is 28 in. and the bore's are mirror bright. The chokes are Improved Mod And Full as indicated by the * & ** markings on the barrels. It has a single selective trigger and extractors. All of the serial numbers match including the forearm, barrels, and receiver. For being 40 years old this shotgun has been taken care of very well.
