Description:
A.Francotte 10 gauge. This example has 32" chopper lump barrels with double under bites, ejectors, and fixed cokes that measure "Cylinder and Cylinder". The barrels are marked for 2 7/8" chambers that have been opened up to 3.5" chambers. It has a matted concave top rib with a white front bead and a brass mid-bead. The receiver is a fine scroll engraved Anson & Deeley action with doll's head, Greener crossbolt and manual top tang safety with S inlaid in gold. Both sides of the receiver are marked "A. FRANCOTTE MAKER & PATENTEE/ LIEGE - BELGIUM". The Blued top lever is lightly scroll engraved, and the trigger guard has engraving on bow and tang. The stock set is a two piece checkered walnut with a straight comb, pistol grip, beavertail forend, and a Decelerator recoil pad. Stock measurements: (DC- 1 5/8" and DH- 3") with a neutral cast. 10 Gauge

Chambers: 2 7/8" stamped on the barrels.
Metal Condition: The barrel finish is in great condition with very little wear. The box frame has traces of case color showing. No marring in the exterior surfaces.
Wood Condition: The stock set rates about 65%-70% and shows scattered light dings and scratches with a light bruise on the bottom of the forend. The finish on the wrist of the stock has turned dark.
Bore Condition: Bright bores with smooth surfaces.
Barrels: 32" barrels.
Triggers: Two triggers.
Stock Dimensions:
LOP 14.25" at the front trigger.
Fore End: Beavertail.
Butt Pad: Rubber.
