Description:
This is a Watervliet Arsenal McKeever Cartridge Box with the NG scroll plate on the leather front. Holds 20 rounds of .45/70 Government ammunition. The second type had a swell in the side for the "Trapdoor" combination tool. The canvas loops are in fine condition, sewn down on canvas backing. This is marked "WATERVLIET ARSENAL" and C.H. for the inspector. Overall condition is very good with normal wear and some verdigris on brass parts.
