This is a custom double edge spear point blade knife made by Dave Smith in Mars, Pennsylvania. The antler handled knife measures 13 ½" with a mirror bright, 7 ¾" double edge blade, marked on the Ricasso "DAVE SMITH / Mars PA." surrounding his makers mark, sharpened but showing very little sign of use. The brass crossguard shows some light impact marks and small areas of rubbing transitioning to a beautifully polished antler that fits well in hand. It comes in a custom leather sheath. A beautiful knife by a lesser known maker.;
