When you want to add a new Parker to your collection how do you choose the right one?  There are lots of factors that should influence your decision on how to spend your money. You want a gun that will serve your needs, function properly without letting you down, and a gun that looks good and makes you proud. You should want to know what you are buying, including great, clear photos that show the whole gun in detail, specifications that will help you know if the gun is safe and will work for your needs, whether the stock dimensions will accommodate your shooting style, and know that the gun is not in need of gunsmithing. The PH Grade Parker was the first grade with a moderate amount of scroll engraving, a bit finer wood than their VH Grade, yet remained affordable. This fine Parker PH, sn113959, was manufactured in 1902. The 28” Parker Twist Steel barrels have excellent bores, lots of wall thickness, no damage or dings anywhere, tight ribs, a silver bead, and are fit to the action and hinge pin tight as new and still showing 98% of the original vivid twist pattern. The chokes are a very useful IC/F. The receiver shows 50% fading factory case color fading a bit to brown in some areas, excellent screws and sharp and clear hand-cut border and scroll engraving. Built on a #2 frame this parker has the strength to absorb recoil and high round counts. The photos show wood with light figure finished in a VFI satin topcoat, perfect wood to metal fit, excellent factory checkering, and original dogs head buttplate. You can buy with confidence as this Parker PH has been serviced by one of our five full-time gunsmiths, it is a VFI CERTIFIED GUN, THE ACTION AND FOREND IRON HAVING BEEN STRIPPED TO PARTS, ALL PARTS ULTRASONIC CLEANED, SCRUBBED TO BARE METAL, INSPECTED FOR INTEGRITY AND FUNCTION, LUBRICATED AND REASSEMBLED, NOW CARRYING A 90 DAY MECHANICAL WARRANTY (a $325 service in our shop). Overall, a great field gun and priced to sell. See specifications below.  Thanks for looking
