Schneider, who was located in Zella-Mehlis, Germany…The 29 ½" barrels are choked full and full. 2 1/2" chambers with fine bores… Box lock action, with side plates…14 ¼" length of pull, with drops of 1 ¾ and 2 ¾"…Weighs just 6 pounds 6 ounces…Stamps on barrel flats indicate proofing in 1940…As with most things German, this gun is finely made and finished…Lock work and action lock up are strong and precise…Pleasing engravings, typically found on custom guns…Overall, fine shooting and collecting condition…C&R eligible…
