Description:

This is a rare civil war era 12 gauge double barrel percussion shotgun, with lock plates stamped H.J. Millian & Co. New Orleans…Nice looking  33" barrels exhibit most of Damascus twist pattern…Barrel flats are stamped with Birmingham, England proof marks…Wood is solid  with  worn finish…Locks are functional, but left lock will not engage half cock…Ramrod is missing…Overall very good antique condition…
May have Confederate association, depending on when Millian made this gun…
