This rifle is in very good condition, indicating minimal wear for a surplus firearm. All original features are intact, and the bore is bright with strong rifling. This Model 48 comes with a Mitchell's Mausers box, adding to its presentation.  Please note that the box has some damage. Year of Manufacture & Value: Zastava Model 48 rifles were produced between 1950 and 1965. The "V" prefix in the serial number does not directly correspond to a specific year in public serial number lists for Zastava M48s. However, the early production M48s (1950-1952) had all milled parts, while later variants (M48A, M48B) incorporated more stamped parts for cost-saving.
