Up for sale is an original WWII-era Japanese Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle chambered in 7.7×58mm. This rifle is a full-length military configuration with intact markings, including the Imperial chrysanthemum crest and original arsenal kanji stamp “???" on the receiver. Rifle appears to be an unaltered battlefield bring-back, not sporterized.
The rifle features a full-length 25.5" barrel, fixed magazine, and ladder-style rear sight. Wood stock is in good condition with expected handling wear and no major cracks. Bore is dark but shows visible rifling. Bolt cycles properly and action is tight.
