This is a full on custom from the stunning beautifully figured stock with shadow line cheeck piecee to the meticuloulsy e engine turned bot and extractor and perfectly executed extensive borderless fleur de lis checkering. Nice additional features are the Lyman receiver site, hooded front sight and single lever Paul Jaeger Griffin & Howe type mount. Neidner checkered steel butt plate and checkered steel pg cap.
It does not appear to have been ever used subsequent to the build. It would likley cost up to about 5k to have this rifle built today ....but you can buy it for less than half of that amont . It is not a lightweight rifle ...weighs about 9lbs. Chambered in ultra versatile 30 06 which at one time had commeridially avail bullet weights from 55 to 250 grains, wood chucks to elepahnts...Check out this beauty.
