Mossberg Model 40 -Bolt Action - .22 LR Rifle - Smooth pistol grip style stock and forend with finger grooves and a White Line cushioned butt pad. 24 In. long barrel with adj. open rear sight and a front bead sight. Tubular magazine with 16 round capacity. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining 100% bluing. Stock and forend are in exceptional condition for it's age with minimal handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. Older professional restoration that has held up very well . This old girl was loved. Manufactured from 1933 to 1935. Very nice example of the Mossberg model 40.
