.44rf, #6006, 24 inch barrel, blue and brass finish, walnut stock, believe sight base is original, ladder is contemporary, butt plate/stock/lower tang/barrel numbers match, engraving on receiver is post manufacture but I believe during period of use, 4 piece steel cleaning rod in butt, sling loops, 1864.
Condition:very good bore, even silver gray patina with no oxidation on barrel, dove tail at right end of barrel address has been plugged, mellow aged brass, wood screws have been "shimmed" with paper, stock has one sliver out next to top right tang, excellent mechanically, excellent marks.
