About Us: With two partners, I own Pawnee Sportsmens Center LLC, near Fort Collins, Colorado. Description:
This Colt Single Action Army revolver was shipped October 22, 1886 (serial #99882) to E. C. Meacham Arms Company, St. Louis, Missouri with 24 other guns. It is a Colt Frontier Six Shooter (.44WCF) with etched panel, 7.5” barrel. It is blue and case with one piece walnut grips. The blue is thinning but generally good and case colors are visible, but faded. I’m sure some parts and screws have been replaced, and maybe the firing pin and ejector housing. The cylinder shows some buffing ad maybe added blue, but all the edges are sharp with hardly any pitting. The grips were probably added after shipment. The bore is very good with no rings or corrosion.
The holster is an H. H. Heiser (Denver, Colorado) heavy leather, double Mexican loop, leather laced, in very good condition.
