W.H. Manton Belgium Side-by-Side Hammer Shotgun – Antique
This is an antique Belgian-made double barrel shotgun marked “W.H. Manton" and “Belgium." It features exposed hammers, side-by-side barrels, and dual triggers in classic 19th century break-action configuration. Likely chambered in 12 or 16 gauge black powder.
The shotgun remains in functional antique condition with solid wood and smooth metal patina. Lockup is tight and triggers function. Hammers cock and drop correctly. Barrels appear clean with visible wear. No modern serial number – typical for black powder-era exports.
