This is a full and sealed box, 50 original rounds, of .22 Short ammunition manufactured by Winchester part of the Red and Green Smokeless Second issues. In excellent condition the box has excellent color, and graphics with crisp edges showing some very minor age soiling. This is the Short Smokeless Second Issue identified as S-27(c) R-1 on Page 60 of the Richard L. Rains Winchester Two-Piece .22 Boxes 1873 To 1927 having top codes of 15 4-15 and side codes 127 4-10 with #9 end flap. A great looking box to display with your antique pistol.
