Description:
Smaller than the Peacemaker, this Uberti Reproduction of the 1877 features hardwood bird's head grips, and single action only trigger. The original had a double action trigger that was prone to failure and apparently Uberti chose to omit that feature. The Lightning, Thunderer, and Omnipotent were variations on the short barreled Model 1877 "Pocket Pistol" and, despite the weak mechanism, were quite popular with good guys and bad guys alike. The pistol itself has very pretty case color frame, and blued barrel. It appears to be unfired. .38 Colt
