A Very Early Civil War Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver In Fine Untouched Condition. Serial # 27,829, All matching numbers. Made in 1852, all original and complete. The revolver has fine metal, markings, and edges. It has an excellent & crisp full cylinder scene on it. It has the desirable "Hartford Address" on top of the barrel. The barrel retains most of its original factory blue on it. The cylinder has a natural plum brown patina on it. The frame, loading lever, and hammer all show some darkened case colors turning to a natural plum patina on them. All screws are fine with a nice plum patina. The backstrap & trigger guard are both untouched and retain about half of their original factory silver on them. The factory grips are excellent throughout and retain their original varnish on them. The action and bore are both fine in the pistol. This Is A Fine Example Of A Very Early Civil War Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver Made In 1852!
