We offer free Shipping for orders over $500. Description: This bayonet fit the Mauser Gewehr 98 & Karabiner 98k which were two of the standard German infantry rifles. The ricasso is marked 42fnj (Coppel G.M.B.H) on one side and 7720 over e on other side. The non sharpened 9 3/4" (248mm) blade is in excellent condition with 90%+ of the blued finish, no chips and nice tip. The Bakelite handle have no cracks or heavy wear and is a red/brown color, marked RG initials with a flashguard, the pommel has the double Waffenamt WaA519. The scabbard is coded a matching 7720. It is in very good condition with 85% of its bluing missing with surface oxidation. Shows little wear with small scratches and almost no dents. Frog is used but in very good condition, brown leather, marked "A.Dopper" with mostly tight stitching. Both the bayonet and the scabbard are marked with the Waffenamt stampings. Price: $289.00 |
