The M&P series of pistols from Smith & Wesson has been a longtime staple of the company's lineup, with handguns in several calibers and sizes. The M&P Shield sub-series is their concealed-carry & self-defense lineup of pistols, again available in a spread of calibers and sizes. Possibly the most popular of the group, the Shield 9 in 9mm Luger was upgraded to the Shield Plus in 2021, modifying the frame and magazine to be slightly wider and increase capacity from 7-8 rounds to 10 rounds in a flush magazine and 13-15 in extended magazines. Available for purchase is a used M&P Shield Plus in 9mm Luger in a somewhat unique "Orchid" colorway. The color is a blue-ish purple with a slight metallic sheen. This pistol is a non-manual safety model without a thumb safety. However, the trigger safety is still present and allows for safe carry even with a round chambered. The barrel measures right at 3" and has a loaded chamber indicator machined into the top of the barrel hood for easy condition checking without manipulating the slide. This pistol is in lightly used condition with no damage and good barrel condition. This M&P Shield Plus includes the factory box, one 10-round flush magazine, and extended 13-round magazine, chamber flag, and user manual. 9mm Luger
