Description:
The Glenfield Model 20 was a common inexpensive rimfire .22 rifle that could be ordered out of catalogs from the 1960s to '80s. The rifles were built by the Marlin Firearms Co. And were a direct copy of the Marlin Model 20, but made with some cheaper components, including an unnamed "hardwood" stock, compared to the Marlin's American walnut. The rifle is able to chamber .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle cartridges from its detachable 7-round magazine. The barrel measures 22" long and has an elevator-adjustable rear sight with Patridge-style front blade sight with textured ramp. The receiver also features a dovetail "tip-off" scope rail for adding scopes. The trigger has textured grooves and is chrome-plated. The stock has a set of woodchucks stamped into the wood on the pistol grip on either side, as well as a few lines of subtle grip texturing. This rifle is in good condition, with a great condition of the barrel, smooth action, and no major damage to the rifle. There are several dings in the stock, but nothing particularly out of the ordinary for an inexpensive .22 over 50 years old; this rifle can be dated to a 1970 production. This rifle only includes one magazine and no box or case. .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle
