Excellent Pre Ban Polytech “Legend” AK-47S Under folder chambered in 7.62x39. Chinese-manufactured Milled Receiver-semi-automatic variant of the AK-47, imported to the United States primarily in the 1980s before import bans were enacted. These rifles are known for their exceptional build quality, often rivaling or surpassing many other imported AK variants. Standard AK-style adjustable rear sight to 800 meters and a protected front post. Other features include a Chrome-lined 16.3" barrel with a mint bore, Milled receiver from one block of steel, Under folding metal stock, Bayonet lug, cleaning rod and threaded barrel with original muzzle nut! Blued steel really sets these apart from all other AK Rifles. A beautiful set of blonde wood furniture rounds out this really nice example. Included is one 30 round poly China magazine with chrome follower.
Polytech rifles, particularly the milled receiver versions, are highly regarded for their fit, finish, and accuracy. Many collectors consider them among the best civilian AKs ever imported. Due to this, these rifles are highly collectible.
