A H Fox CE Special grade made by CSMC..this is not a Savage Fox!
20-gauge SxS shotgun. 28” solid rib barrels are bored .615” and are choked .008” (tight IC) in the right and .015” (modified) in the left.
Double triggers, automatic safety. CE Special engraving with woodcock on the left side, grouse on the right side and a retriever with a pheasant in its mouth on the bottom surrounded by fine scroll work on the rest of the action, on the trigger guard and on the barrel chamber area.
The stock and the forearm are upgraded even over the CE Special grade with nice grain and a dark hand rubbed oil finish on both pieces. The pistol grip stock has a 14 ¾” length of pull; 1 3/8” drop at the comb; 2 1/8” drop at the heel with ¼” cast for a right-hand shooter. The splinter forearm has a traditional Deeley style release latch.
The condition of the gun is “as new” with the retaining 99.9% of all case colors, blue and wood finishes. The only sign that gun has ever been put together is the slight “scuff” on the breech face is from the ejectors rubbing there when the gun is opened and closed!
