Except for a couple of marks on the left side this 60 plus year ofd somewhat rare model (Varmint weight chambered in 225 win) is in otherwis new conditon
While Remington starting in 1967 produced and sold many VS or Varmint Specials...Winchester neglected the heavy barrel Varmint market largely and therefor these are somewhat scarce esp when chambered in now long since obsolute but hot 225 Winchester. The 225 based on 30 30 or 219 Zipper case is effectivly the balistic equiv to the 22-250 and the 224 Weatherby. Designed to be a hot varmint round it can be very capable on deer in the hands of a careful shooter.
Winchester collectors know you will not likley find another like this for a year or more.
Note the scope shown (Redfield 3x9 can be included at no extra cost it is comprimised ..with a faulty cross hair...we do however have many excellent used scopes that would be more appropriate for this long range hot varmint taker. ..inqqure)
