This signifies that this flintlock Model 1822 was altered to percussion and rifled. . The overall length is approx. 14.5". The approx. 8" round rifled bbl The front sight is a post set on a round base and the rear sight is a fixed block on the breech tang. The right side of the stock has what appears to be 1231 as does several other areas..
