Description:
Rare W. & C. Scott Monte Carlo 'A' 12 gauge ejector gun( only one I've ever seen in 40 years of  collecting Scott guns. The difference I see from the 'B' model is mainly the lack of pigeons on the lockplates, with about 70% coverage of fine scroll, and a blind square crossbolt. Very nicely figured semi pistol grip wood with splinter forend with a leather covered recoil pad, crisply functioning ejectors, 26" 'Special Steel B' barrels choked Cylinder in the right, Improved Mod. in the left, original 2 1/2" chambers, perfect bores, 1 1/8 ounce nitro proofs, S/N 7485x, weight 6 lbs. 8 ozs., great quail and upland gun, 80% bright case color, 95% blue, lettering and engraving sharp and clean. Tight hinge and on face with toplever to right. I don't think this gun ever saw much use. I have several other Scotts available, Premier and Imperial. Thanks for looking.
