This a beautiful 1990 Ruger Mark II Government Target Model .22LR semi-auto pistol.
With the exception of a scratch under the barrel and some wear on the muzzle it is in very good condition. The gloss blue factory finish rates 95%. The bore is clean with no visible imperfections. The factory original checkered black plastic grips are in like-new condition, with both sides free from any cracks, chips, repairs, or visible wear. The action is slick and extremely smooth. The bolt slams home with authority when released and all of the controls on the pistol are in perfect working order.
The Ruger Mark II Government Target Model was first introduced in 1987 and remained in production until 2004. Essentially a commercial version of the U.S. Government contract training model, the Government Target features a gloss blue factory finish, a 6 & 7/8ths\" inch heavy bull barrel, a left-side mounted slide stop, a adjustable target style sights, black checkered plastic factory grips, and a 10-shot single-stack magazine with a heel-mounted release.
