I'm selling my collection. Here is an Antique C.Sharps Model 1, 4-Shot Pepperbox Pistol, "Sharps Patent/Jan.25.1859", chambered for .22 rimfire caliber. Production 1859-1874 of about 15000 widelv used in the Civil War neriod 2.1/2" 4-barrel cluster slides forward for loading with good bores with sharp rifling with rotating firing pins mounted on the hammer Solid iron frame Very aood walnut grips. Original factory blue on the barrel remains and rates a fadding 30%. Circular markings on both sides of the solid brass frame :"C.Sharps patent 1859, on the right side C.Sharps & Co.Philadelphia. PA". These Pepperbox are rarely found in such good working condition. Original gutta -percha ornate grip , the left is missing part of it. Serial number on the butt and under the barrel the barrel "39082*. I described it to the best of my knowledge. The old ammunitions showed on one of these pictures are not for sale.
