Description:
U.S. Model 1817 Flintlock Rifle – .54 Caliber by H. Deringer
This is a rare and historically significant U.S. Model 1817 Flintlock Rifle, also known as the “Common Rifle”, manufactured by the legendary Henry Deringer of Philadelphia. Chambered in .54 caliber, this rifle features the classic flintlock action and military-style construction used by American forces in the early 19th century.
These rifles were issued to U.S. military riflemen and militia units during the 1820s–1840s and were known for their accuracy and reliability in the field.
Not a reproduction. This is an authentic early 19th-century U.S. military flintlock rifle.
Shipping, handling and insurance varies on each firearm from $45.00 to $100 depending size, weight and zip code. To be determined after sale. FFL is requred since New Jersey does not have a pre-1898 law.
