A true collector’s gem—this Smith & Wesson Model 17-8 Heritage Series, distributed by Lew Horton in 2001, is a rare find for vintage firearms enthusiasts. Chambered in .22 LR, it features a 6-inch round blued barrel, stunning factory case-colored K-frame with a four-screw sideplate, smooth-faced trigger with integral overtravel stop, and elegant checkered walnut grips with silver S&W medallions.
This revolver is in like new condition and comes with the original gold Heritage presentation box, manual and Smith & Wesson Paper.
The Heritage Series emphasized high-quality materials, traditional craftsmanship, and distinctive presentation. Adjustable rear sights, pinned Patridge front sight. Only a small quantity were manufactured.
